This morning we decided to take a trip to see Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. We took the scenic route (no tolls) on the way there and came across a little town called Oakfield that had a huge city wide synchronized garage sale – there were literally dozens and dozens of garage sales along main street and up and down many side streets. David’s hoarding gene kicked into gear and it was all I could do to keep the car in motion and not stop!

Coming across the Rainbow Bridge turned out to be pretty easy and next thing you know, we’re there. I had seen Niagara Falls several years ago and remember seeing many wedding chapels coming into town, but fast-forward to today and found none. Times have changed. Plenty of touristy things to do though, kind of like Las Vegas but more kid friendly.

Touristy Niagara

So basically we parked the car, walked to a lookout point, took some photos, then walked to Skylon Tower for a nice lunch with a stellar view. Pricey, but the food and service was good and the view outstanding.

One final thing to say about Niagara Falls. If you’re a Three Stooges fan, this is your first thought when thinking about Niagara Falls: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYP1OBZfFK0
